I'm currently developing two projects.

East of West is a documentary series on the New Silk Roads from Xi'an to Istanbul. It’s an intimate journey through cultures the modern world has misread, told through the people who live them.

The Watchtower is a narrative feature about a group of soldiers guarding a forgotten outpost in Tang Dynasty China. Battling doubt and despair as their empire collapses around them, they face the ultimate question: what can you hold onto when everything falls apart?

The Watchtower

The Watchtower (烽之子) is a feature-length narrative film.

A disillusioned court scholar abandons everything he once believed in and flees west across the desert — only to find himself stranded at a forgotten watchtower with four soldiers who have every reason to give up but haven't.
